M&M productions is thrilled to bring back Olli Soikkeli and Cesar Garabini~CHORO NOVO; an eveing of gypsy jazz meets Brazilian choro~a special cd release concert Sunday May 5th 7-8:30pm at the Historic Park Theatre in Estes Park, Colorado. Doors open at 6:30pm Tickets are: $19 purchased in advance and $21/ Day of or at the door. Django-style Finnish guitar whiz will be playing duets with Cesar Garabini, the mostly-Brazilian 7-string guitar artist. Gypsy jazz meets choro! Brazilian chorinho and Gypsy jazz are a natural pair. Both matured in the early 20th century influenced by urbanization, industrialization, European classical music, African rhythms, popular dance music, and the dawn of the recording industry.
