The First annual film festival was spectacular and we have set the date for the 2nd annual Estes Park Film Festival for 2007! The Festival will take place at The Historic Park Theatre September 14th through the 16th, 2007 with an awards ceremony on the final night! We will begin accepting film entries November 1st with official selections being announced the first week of July, 2007. Estes Park, Colorado, Gateway to the Rocky Mountain National Park, is the perfect back-drop for a film festival. Thousands of people visit each year to enjoy the shops, golf courses, beautiful mountain scenery, horseback riding, and numerous hiking trails. The Estes Park Film Festival will showcase an amazing blend of feature length films, short films, and documentaries. Additionally there will be plenty of parties where you can mingle with the filmmakers and other film aficionados! We are also looking for passionate film enthusiasts who would like to be a part of our festival staff! This is a great chance to be a part of the planning and organization of an international film festival!
